Venue and dates

The JDP 2014 congress (scientific programme, posters, exhibition, FMC (CME) sessions, exhibition) will take place from 09 to 13 December 2014 at the Palais des Congrès (Paris Convention Centre) 2, place de la Porte Maillot – 75017 Paris
It is easily accessible by car (Parking Porte Maillot under the Convention Centre), by local city bus (lines: 82.73.43.244.PC), by metro (line 1) or by RER (Paris Suburban Express Metropolitan Network, line C).

ON SITE Welcome area

The congress secretariat (welcome area, registration desk) will be located on Level 3, Hall Havane (Neuilly side).
Opening hours :
- from Tuesday 09 December to Friday 12 December 2014 : 8:00 – 18:00
- on Saturday 13 December 2014 : 8:00 – 12:00 (level 0,5).
The congress documentation will be available there for pre-registered delegates and for anyone wishing to register on site.
Upon registration, an electronic badge confirmation will be sent to you containing a bar code. Do not forget to print this page and bring it with you to the congress. You will have to scan the bar code and your badge will be printed automatically.

 

Congress access

All participants must be registered. Admission to the scientific sessions and exhibition is by badge only.
A lost or a forgotten badge cannot be replaced.


Lunches

Lunches/Coffee breaks,  are NOT included in the registration fees.

 

Important information

Acess to oral communications sessions, posters sessions, plenary sessions is included in the registration fees and does not require pre-booking.
Sessions such as FMC (CME), workshops, forums must be pre-booked and some of them are subject to an additional fee (please refer to programme).
For all sessions, you need to present your badge at conference room entrance for scan.


CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE

Certificates of attendance for pre-registered participants will be issued along with the Congress documentation upon arrival. Participants who register on-site can request this certificate at the Welcome Desk (level 3).

 

CME credits

CME certificates will be available to you after the event. It will be your responsibility to download your certificate at www.sfdermato.com (JDP 2014 picture) and for processing with your national authority. Your access codes will be your family name and your registration number.

 

Insurance & Liability

The Congress Organizers (SFD and MCI) cannot be held liable for any hindrance or disruption of Congress proceedings arising from political, social, health or economic events or any other unforeseen incidents beyond their control.
The congress cancellation conditions shall apply in any case. Registration of a participant entails acceptance of the cancellation conditions.
The Congress Organizers strongly recommend that participants obtain adequate cover for cancellation travel, health, accident and cancellation insurance before they depart from their countries.
The Congress Organizers will accept no liability for personal injuries sustained by or for loss or damage to property belonging to congress participants either during or as a result of the Congress or during all events.
